We have recently established a girls football and rugby team, alongside our boys teams. We are seeking funding to purchase new training tops for our girls team. We attend numerous school football and rugby events not just locally, but across the north west region. We are really proud of our girls team and would love the opportunity to purchase professional training tops. This gives them a sense of pride when they walk out on the field." The 3R Foundation was keen to help and we love our logo on the back of the girl's tops!
They have been running for over 15 years, winning their division fairly regularly. They also hold a Guinness world record for the amount of goals scored in 24 hours, which they achieved during a fundraising event for one of their players during a battle with cancer. They recently increased from 2 teams to 3 teams; Stingwrays, Whipwrays and Mantawrays, so urgently needed new tops which the 3R Foundation was delighted to be able to help with.
Lune valley Swimming Pool offers swimming lessons to all ages, fun extra curricular activities for children such as SplashBall and Rookie Lifeguards as well as exercise classes for adults and the older community.
