What we gratefully accept
Furniture, bags, clothes, CDs, DVDs, Toys, games, jigsaws, working electrical items (we check and PAT test everything electrical before reselling), shoes, books, bed linen, luggage, flat screen TVs, sports gear, cameras, kitchenware |
What we don't accept
Microwaves, printers, computers, anything broken or damaged, faulty or non working electricals, old style TVs (from before flat screens!), videos, curtain poles, blinds |

When do you accept donations?
We are open 9.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and we would love to be able to accept everything that is offered to us when we are open, as we realise you have gone out of your way to bring it to us. |
However we do advise that if you are making a special journey, or have a large item, or a lot to donate then please give us a call first on 01524 932125 to make sure we have room! |

When do you NOT accept donations?
If we have had a lot of donations and the shop and storage room is full you will see a sign saying the following:

Please remember that we are not a big chain of shops with a central warehouse (or fancy offices somewhere), we are just a small local charity, started and run by local volunteers, who are raising funds that go directly back into OUR local community!
It is very frustrating for our staff and volunteers when we have to put this sign out and refuse donations, but we are all doing our very best with the limted space and facilities we have, so we would be really grateful if you could accept our apologies if we cannot accept your donations on occasion.
