GRANT AWARD - Carnforth Community Swimming pool

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £650 to Carnforth Community Swimming pool for window blinds, a freezer and a safety gate for their new viewing area and cafe.
The pool is run by registered charity and aims to offer swimming to all of the local area.

​hey have public swimming, aquafit and swim sanity sessions, childrens' parties, 400 + children's swimming lesson programme and host 20+ schools in their school swimming programme. They also have an expanding wellbeing swim linked to local doctors surgeries and a newly qualified swim teacher able to deliver sessions to autistic children.
They have recently had an extension built and needed some blinds for the cafe and viewing area for when there are school swim sessions, a chest freezer to store ice creams for the children and a safety gate for the kitchen area. We were happy tp help with a grant for these!
