World-Wide Life Enhancement Facility

World-Wide Life Enhancement Facility

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £499 to the World-Wide Life Enhancement Facility for a washing machine.

The World Wide Life Enhancement Facility is a registered charity that works to support people who have been granted refuge in the United Kingdom, as well as other underrepresented groups such as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities and people with disabilities living in the Heysham and Morecambe area.

The charity applied for funding to purchase essential white goods for a family of six who have recently settled in Heysham through the family reunion programme. The father was previously granted refugee status following a successful asylum claim, and the family has now been reunited. With the support of the grant, the charity will be able to provide the family with a washing machine, ensuring they can begin their new life with dignity and stability.

If you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or a vital piece of equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.
