Wildlife Wellbeing Walks CIC
The 3R Foundation recently awarded £328 to Wildlife Wellbeing Walks CIC for T-shirt printing equipment and branded clothing.
Wildlife Wellbeing Walks CIC supports people to reconnect with the natural world through walks, talks and creative events that promote wellbeing. Led by Ros, the organisation blends academic insight with natural storytelling to create immersive experiences that help people step away from everyday pressures and reconnect with nature.
Working alongside other local practitioners — from sound bath facilitators to woodcarving specialists — Wildlife Wellbeing Walks launched the Wild Roots Nature Fest in June 2025. Delivered in partnership with organisations including Food Futures, Exergonic and local green space partners, the festival provided nature-based experiences for over 200 people, including extensive outreach with local community groups and schools. The festival will return in 2026 across two full weekends, with the aim of doubling participation.
The grant supported the purchase of equipment to allow Wildlife Wellbeing Walks to produce their own eco-friendly, branded T-shirts. These will be created using second-hand clothing where possible, with printing blocks produced at Lancaster and Morecambe Makers, allowing participants to customise designs as part of workshops. Funding also supported essential branded items for outreach and networking, helping to raise awareness of the organisation as it continues to work with local charities and community groups. Sustainable and organic products were chosen wherever possible.
If you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.
