Unique Kidz & Co

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £900 to Unique Kidz & Co for the purchase of a 32" interactive board game table.

Unique Kidz and Co works to create a world where every young person with a disability has a safe, welcoming place where they can play, make friends, build confidence and truly shine. Their services support children and young people in an inclusive environment where differences are celebrated and everyone is encouraged to reach their potential.

The grant was used to purchase a freestanding Arcade 1Up interactive board game table, which will be shared across the organisation’s services. As Unique Kidz and Co continues to blend age groups, access to activities that young people of different ages and abilities can enjoy together is increasingly important. The standalone table format and touchscreen design allow able-bodied participants, wheelchair users and young people with motor skill challenges to take part side by side, supporting inclusive and social play.

This new equipment helps to reduce barriers, encourage interaction and strengthen friendships, while providing a fun, engaging activity that promotes confidence, communication and shared experiences for everyone involved.
