The 3R Foundation recently awarded £870 to The Parachute Regimental Association, Morecambe & District Branch for printed T-shirts and sweatshirts for their members.

The Parachute Regimental Association, Morecambe & District Branch award

The Parachute Regimental Association (PRA) brings together veterans and serving members of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces in friendship, remembrance, and support. The Morecambe & District Branch supports local veterans and their families, including those who served with 9 Squadron Royal Engineers, 216 Signals, 63 Squadron Royal Corps of Transport, and all Parachute Regiment Battalions. Members range in age from 36 to 94, spanning generations united by their shared service.

The branch plays an active role in community life — attending parades, remembrance events, and civic occasions, as well as fundraising for both the branch and the national Airborne charity Support Our Paras. The new branded T-shirts and sweatshirts will help raise the profile of the branch at events and encourage new members to join, while giving existing members a shared sense of pride and identity.

The group extends its thanks to the 3R Foundation for supporting their work and helping them stay visible in the community.
