The Olive Branch (Faith in Action)

The 3R Foundation has recently awarded a grant of £285 to The Olive Branch (Faith in Action) for a new laptop PC.

The Olive Branch’s mission is to support those facing hardship caused by addiction, broken family relationships, poverty and homelessness, helping individuals and families to resolve and alleviate their difficulties. The charity provides a referral-based foodbank and a welcoming drop-in centre for those in need.

This grant will enable the purchase of a much-needed new laptop for the Assistant Manager, replacing an ageing 7-year-old device. The older laptop, while no longer suitable for its current role, will still be put to good use, being reallocated to a newly recruited admin volunteer. This means two people will benefit from the grant – helping the organisation to work more efficiently and continue supporting those who need it most.

If you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or a vital piece of equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.

We offer small grants to support projects across Lancaster, Morecambe, North Lancs and South Lakes, and applying is quick and easy here:
