The Clubhouse Morecambe
The 3R Foundation recently awarded £440 to The Clubhouse Morecambe for three folding tables to support its growing programme of activities for neuro-diverse adults.
The Clubhouse provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive space where neuro-diverse adults can socialise, build confidence and take part in a wide range of leisure and wellbeing activities. It runs a variety of regular clubs and classes, including a community hub, pool team, dance and exercise sessions, arts and crafts, music and drama, and a social club.
With weekly attendance figures of around 300 members, demand for space and equipment has continued to grow. The grant was used to purchase three Gopak Economy Folding Tables, which will help accommodate increased numbers at classes, clubs and seasonal events. Having additional tables ensures activities can run smoothly and safely, while giving members the space they need to take part fully and comfortably.
This funding helps The Clubhouse continue to provide meaningful opportunities for social connection, creativity and physical activity, supporting wellbeing and reducing isolation within the local community
f you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.
