The 3R Foundation has recently awarded a grant of £490 to SportsReach to help purchase new children’s football training bibs and two Samba football goals with carry bags.

is a Christian sports charity based in Carnforth. Their motto is “Reaching the world for Christ through sport.” The organisation runs soccer and netball schools across the UK for children aged 7–17, along with a netball league for girls and women aged 14+ in Lancaster and a men’s 5-a-side football league in Carnforth during the winter months.

SportsReach also has an extensive overseas programme, taking teams to Austria, France and Germany to coach, play sport and share Bible teaching, as well as working alongside pastors and churches in schools and communities in Kenya. Over 600 children attend their five-day sports schools each year, and maintaining good quality training equipment is essential to delivering these sessions.

This grant will support the replacement of worn-out bibs and damaged football goals, ensuring that the charity can continue to offer a high standard of coaching and activity for young people.
