Scot4All

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £250 to Scot4All towards the purchase of an infinity mirror, sensory lighting and floor cushions for a school sensory room.

Scot4All is the Parent Teacher Association connected to Scotforth St Paul’s Primary and Nursery School in Lancaster. As a registered charity, the group organises fun and engaging fundraising activities with the aim of enhancing the school environment and providing resources that go beyond the standard school budget. Their work helps to build a strong, supportive school community and a nurturing place for children to learn and thrive.

The grant supported Scot4All’s efforts to help equip a sensory room for younger pupils. Sensory rooms provide a calm, supportive space with lighting, textures and soft furnishings that help stimulate the senses, support emotional regulation and improve focus. This type of environment can be especially beneficial for children with additional needs such as autism and ADHD.

Funding from the 3R Foundation helped purchase an infinity mirror, sensory lighting and textured floor cushions, creating an engaging and soothing space that will support pupils’ wellbeing and learning for years to come.

If you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.
