No Man Left Inside (Youth Section)

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £540 to No Man Left Inside (Youth Section) for boxing gloves, boxing training pads and a tug of war rope.

No Man Left Inside is a community-led initiative supporting the mental health, wellbeing and life opportunities of males through physical activity, mentorship and positive peer support. Having originally worked with adult men, the organisation has now developed a dedicated programme for boys aged 12–16, working in conjunction with Lancaster and Morecambe Police.

The programme supports young people from some of the area's most disadvantaged communities, including those at risk of becoming involved in anti-social behaviour or the youth justice system.

Through structured fitness and combat-based training, teamwork, positive male role models and open conversations about mental health and wellbeing, the project provides a safe and supportive environment where young people can develop confidence, discipline, resilience and a sense of belonging.

The 3R grant funded boxing gloves and training pads, together with a tug of war rope, providing practical equipment for group training sessions. Activities such as boxing, tug of war and team challenges encourage participants to work together, build trust and channel their energy in a positive way.

At the heart of the project is a simple aim: to give young males somewhere they feel welcome, valued and able to talk without judgement, while surrounding them with positive influences and helping them make better choices for their future.

The 3R Foundation funds grants like this through the Recycle, Reuse, Rehome charity shop in Carnforth (next to Tesco).
