Millhead FC under 8 girls football team

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £250 to Millhead FC under 8 girls football team for training bibs, balls, cones and training aids.

The grant has supported Millhead Under 8s Girls Football Club, based near Carnforth, with the purchase of essential new training equipment. The club was set up to provide opportunities for girls under the age of eight in the local area to get involved in football in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment. As a relatively new team, they are continuing to grow and develop both their squad and their skills.

The grant funding has enabled the club to purchase new training bibs, footballs, cones and a range of training aids, all of which will support the girls’ development. These resources will help coaches deliver high-quality training sessions, improve the players’ skills and confidence, and ensure that everyone has access to the equipment they need to enjoy the game and reach their potential.

Millhead U8s Girls are part of a wider grassroots football movement that encourages physical activity, team spirit and personal development, and 3R Foundation is pleased to support their growth.
