Lancaster & District Male Voice Choir

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £373 to the Lancaster & District Male Voice Choir for two feather flags and bases.

The Lancaster & District Male Voice Choir has been entertaining audiences across the Lancaster district through formal concerts, community performances and visits to shopping centres, care homes and nursing homes. As well as bringing the enjoyment of live music to local people, the choir raises funds through ticket sales and collections to support its own activities, host venues and a range of local charities.

The choir's existing promotional roller banner had become worn and outdated, making it less effective when representing the organisation at concerts and community events.

The grant funded two portable feather flags with display bases, giving the choir a modern, eye-catching way to promote its performances and attract new audiences and members.

The new flags will be used at both formal concerts and informal community performances, helping increase the choir's visibility, encourage greater public engagement and support its ongoing fundraising for good causes across the local area.

The 3R Foundation funds grants like this through the Recycle, Reuse, Rehome charity shop in Carnforth (next to Tesco).
