Lancaster and District Male Voice Choir
The 3R Foundation has awarded £500 to Lancaster and District Male Voice Choir for 25 branded v-neck jumpers.
As the name suggests, the Lancaster & District Male Voice Choir is a long-established male voice choir performing regularly across the Lancaster area. The choir brings music and joy to the community through a mixture of formal concerts and informal performances in shopping centres, community venues and residential homes.
The choir has two uniforms — maroon blazers for formal events and maroon jumpers for more informal sings. However, the current jumpers have become worn and faded through years of regular use. This grant will enable the choir to purchase a new set of branded v-neck jumpers for all members, along with a few spares, ensuring they continue to represent Lancaster with pride while bringing their music to audiences throughout the district.
If you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or a vital piece of equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.
We offer small grants to support projects across Lancaster, Morecambe, North Lancs and South Lakes, and applying is quick and easy here:
