Holme Parish Hall

Holme Parish Hall

The 3R Foundation has recently awarded a grant of £927 to Holme Parish Hall to support the installation of new LED lighting in the main hall.

Holme Parish Hall is at the heart of the village, providing a safe, clean and welcoming space for residents of all ages from the local community and surrounding area. The hall is widely used by groups including Scouts, Brownies, WI, Parish Council, coffee mornings, craft groups, choirs, band rehearsals and playgroups, as well as hosting family parties and music evenings. A new Pickleball group will also be making use of the hall this summer.

The existing strip lights in the main hall were vulnerable to damage and in need of replacement. By upgrading to safer, modern LED lighting, the hall is now more suitable for a wider range of activities, including sports, while also reducing electricity consumption and running costs.

This grant will ensure that Holme Parish Hall can continue to provide a bright, safe and energy-efficient community space for everyone to enjoy.

If you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or a vital piece of equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.
