Highgrove FC Under 7’s

Highgrove FC Under 7’s

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £180 to Highgrove F.C Under 7's for training equipment, footballs and a set of popup goals.

They are a newly formed under-7s football team, established in Lancaster in January 2025 due to the limited availability of spaces in existing teams. Operating under the Highgrove name, parents contribute a monthly subscription to the club, which covers costs such as weekly training venues, insurance, and other administrative fees required to register each player. However, the team does not receive any funding for children's football kits, footballs, or other training equipment.

The club believes strongly in the value of involving children in a small, community-based team to encourage regular physical activity, offer emotional and mental support, and foster friendships through social and team-based play.

They applied to us at the 3R Foundation for a grant for a selection of training equipment, some footballs and a pair of popup goals, we were happy to help to get them up and running with their training sessions.

If the 3R foundation could help with funds for a vital piece of equipment, then clubs and groups can apply for a grant using our simple form here:
