Escape2make

The 3R Foundation has awarded £497 to Escape2Make to purchase an acoustic guitar, cajon (drum), keyboard stand and podcast kit. On top of this, we were also delighted to donate an additional acoustic guitar, keyboard, keyboard stand and microphones that had been kindly gifted to our shop.

(E2M) is a Lancaster-based charity dedicated to providing free creative opportunities for young people aged 11 to 18 in Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth. Their mission is to combat youth loneliness and isolation by creating safe, inclusive spaces where young people can connect, express themselves and build confidence through creativity.
E2M’s work is rooted in the belief that real-world connection is a powerful antidote to endless scrolling, boredom and disconnection. Their regular creative workshops offer young people a welcoming space to explore their talents, try new things and make new friends. The organisation is guided by its Youth Board, who help shape its vision and projects, ensuring young people lead the way.
Recently, the Youth Board hosted their own variety night, where members and their friends showcased their musical skills. Off the back of this success, they want to do more music-based events and start producing their own podcasts. This grant — and the donated instruments — will give them the tools they need to grow this work, providing young people with opportunities to perform, collaborate and share their voices with the wider community.
If you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or a vital piece of equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.
We offer small grants to support projects across Lancaster, Morecambe, North Lancs and South Lakes, and applying is quick and easy here:
