Crossgate Church

Crossgate Church

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £250 to Crossgate Church UK for 5x mobile phones.

Crossgate Hope is the outreach arm of Crossgate Church in Preston, supporting between 120 and 150 vulnerable individuals each week. Their service users include people experiencing homelessness, those in recovery from addiction, ex-offenders, street ladies, and others facing complex life challenges.

The team provides two meals a day and operates a weekly food bank. In addition, they offer a range of practical and emotional support, including group sessions, one-to-one mentoring, help with benefits and job applications, budgeting advice, and signposting to other essential services. At the heart of their work is a mission to offer hope and stability to those who may feel they have none.

Crossgate Hope applied for a 3R Foundation grant to fund five mobile phones for service users. The phones are a vital tool for maintaining contact with support workers, attending appointments, accessing online recovery sessions, and searching for housing or employment opportunities. This simple but powerful provision helps individuals stay connected, engaged, and supported as they work towards more positive futures.

If you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or a vital piece of equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.

We offer small grants to support projects across Lancaster, Morecambe, North Lancs and South Lakes, and applying is quick and easy here:
