Breathe Easy Lancashire

Breathe Easy Lancashire

The 3R Foundation has recently awarded a grant of £368 to Breathe Easy Lancashire to help purchase 10 folding tables, a projector and a screen.

Breathe Easy Lancashire meet twice a month across two venues – St John’s Church in Heysham and The Oak Centre at St John’s Hospice in Lancaster. The group brings together people living with COPD (all over 18) to share experiences and support one another. It is run entirely by three volunteers and provides light refreshments, guest speakers and the support of a professional physiotherapist, all free of charge to those attending.

The new folding tables will be used for refreshments and activities, while the projector and screen will make it possible for guest speakers who cannot attend in person to still deliver talks and presentations via PowerPoint, adding real value to the sessions.

If you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or a vital piece of equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.

We offer small grants to support projects across Lancaster, Morecambe, North Lancs and South Lakes, and applying is quick and easy here:
