Branksome Good Neighbours

The 3R Foundation has recently awarded a grant of £498 to Branksome Good Neighbours (BGN) in Morecambe for litter picking equipment, hi-vis vests, foldable tables and a gazebo.

Branksome Good Neighbours is a community-led residents’ association. Since forming in 2022, the group has delivered a wide range of community-based activities, from coffee mornings and fundraisers to popular family fun days.

Their weekly coffee mornings at the Toby Carvery in Morecambe offer a friendly space for residents to meet, chat and socialise — a real lifeline for some. Alongside this, BGN organises regular community litter picks to help keep the area clean and tidy, bringing neighbours together to take pride in their surroundings.

The grant funded adult and child litter grabbers, bin bag hoops, high-visibility vests, and two foldable tables and a gazebo — making it easier and safer to host their regular clean-up events, whatever the weather.

If you know of a local charity, club or community group looking for funding for a project or a vital piece of equipment, the 3R Foundation may be able to help.

We offer small grants to support projects across Morecambe, Lancaster, North Lancs and South Lakes, and applying is quick and easy here:
