Adullam Programme
The 3R Foundation recently awarded £349 to the Adullam Programme for an office desk, storage unit and office chair, helping support the organisation's growing team.
Based at Hope Church in Lancaster, the Adullam Programme is a community-focused initiative providing practical help, guidance and support to people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Through mentoring, outreach and supportive programmes, the team helps individuals overcome challenges, build confidence, develop new skills and strengthen relationships.
At the heart of its work is a commitment to equality, inclusion and wellbeing, creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and has the opportunity to reach their potential.
As the programme has grown, so has its team, which now includes four members of staff. However, with only two desks and chairs available, there simply wasn't enough suitable workspace for everyone!
The 3R grant funded a new office desk, chair and storage unit, providing much-needed additional workspace and helping staff organise their resources and carry out their day-to-day work more effectively.
It's not always the most exciting equipment that makes the biggest difference! Sometimes the practical essentials behind the scenes are just what a growing community organisation needs to continue supporting the people who rely on its services. 💜
The 3R Foundation funds grants like this through the Recycle, Reuse, Rehome charity shop in Carnforth (next to Tesco).
Every purchase in the shop helps fund grants for local charities, clubs and community groups across North Lancashire and South Cumbria. Please support the shop so we can continue helping even more organisations in our area.
