5th Morecambe Brownies

5th Morecambe Brownies

The 3R Foundation has recently awarded a grant of £107 to the 5th Morecambe Brownies for the purchase of 36 high visibility vests.

The 5th Morecambe Brownies is a local Girlguiding group that meets weekly at the Church of Ascension in Torrisholme. The group offers its members a wide variety of activities, day trips and weekends away, giving the girls opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence and make lasting friendships.

The new high visibility vests will help to keep the girls safe and easy to identify when out and about in the local community. They are particularly useful for larger trips, such as the group’s recent visit to Gulliver’s World in Warrington, ensuring that leaders can easily see and supervise the girls at all times.

This small grant will help the 5th Morecambe Brownies continue their tradition of offering fun, engaging and safe experiences for local young people.
