GRANT AWARDED - CRAGBANK UNDER 5's NURSERY

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £500 to Crag Bank Under 5's Playgroup/Pre-school for some role play equipment for the nursery. Crag Bank Under 5s is a non-profit making group established over 30 years ago, which is run by committee of elected parents.

​The playgroup caters two to four year olds. The Pre-school sessions cater for children in the year before they progress to primary school. Both Playgroup and Pre-school run in term time.
​Role play is a fantastic way way for children to socialise and talk and covers all areas of the Early years foundation stage so they discussed this with the children and asked them what new role play equipment they would like; the top two were a new construction area and a hairdressers followed close behind by a supermarket. These would have dividing boards to separate the individual areas and all the resources to go with them. We were delighted to be able to help!
